A tribute to the opossum.(Its only fair if I am going to name my blog after them.)
So, we all know that Possums are the coolest because they can hang upside down forever and the are so freaking cute, but did you know:
*In animal tests, they rank smarter than dogs.
*They have thumbs on their hind feet.
*They are North Americas only marsupial.
*They eat "pests" aka beetles, cockroaches etc...
* If a enemy comes and they can't flee, they roll over, shut their eyes, and feign dead aka they "play possum"
* When they "play possum" they can do it anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
*They have been around for 70 million years! That means they chilled with Dinosaurs!
* That also makes them they oldest suviving mammal!
