Park City!!

Today for my mom's birthday we went to Park City and shopped and ate at Zoom the resturant owned by Robert Redford it was yummy as always. As a speical treat we saw a boy walking a ferret.

Ok, So I went to a Real Salt Lake Soccer Game tonight with Barb and Claw . It was the best thing ever. All the boys are hot. I love them all. They didn't win but its ok because they are awesome and we love them. Em loves the youngest one. Nikolas. Barb loves Jordan. I have a personal fondness for D.J. the goalie. So, as you may or may not know Barb and I pretty much love Jared Leto. Well last night, Jenny and I met the non-famous verison. And the non-famous version's cute friends. I think we love them. Almost as much as the real thing.

Ugly/Cute dog

This dog, Sam, just won the World's ugliest dog contest for the third year in a row. I think he is kind of cute. (he is sick so be nice!)

I like Rats. Once I saved one. This is a poem my friend Emily wrote about it. The rats name was Oedipus. My jerky high school teacher killed him. RIP dear Rat.

Zoo

So today in the sweltering heat Brian made a group of us go to The Hogle Zoo to visit the stressed out animals. So in case you have not visited the zoo in a while, here is an update, The Hippo is gone moved to a zoo in New Mexico. Good for Hippo, (his cage was repulsive) Sad for everyone else. The polar bear has died, as well and the male lion. The new Elephant place is much, much better than the old one. A new "big cat" place will be up and running summer 2006. And can I just say it s about effing time. The "big cat" place was probaley one of the worst things up there. A new baby orangatang is up there and she is soooo cute. Also a baby Meercat. Super cute as well. However, we could not find Wolves, or Mtn. Lions. And Zoo food is the grossest thing ever. And they have no Possums there whats up with that!

O Possum, You're Awesome!

A tribute to the opossum.(Its only fair if I am going to name my blog after them.)
So, we all know that Possums are the coolest because they can hang upside down forever and the are so freaking cute, but did you know:

*In animal tests, they rank smarter than dogs.
*They have thumbs on their hind feet.
*They are North Americas only marsupial.
*They eat "pests" aka beetles, cockroaches etc...
* If a enemy comes and they can't flee, they roll over, shut their eyes, and feign dead aka they "play possum"
* When they "play possum" they can do it anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
*They have been around for 70 million years! That means they chilled with Dinosaurs!
* That also makes them they oldest suviving mammal!

Star Bores...

So,I saw Star Wars yesterday, and I was so bored. And don't get me wrong, I love Hayden Christensen, but he talked so damn slow, I felt like I was going Crazy. But then again, pretty much everyone talked slow. Except for Samuel L Jackson. And Ewan McGregor. If it wasn't for Yoda (and his complete awesomeness), Samuel, Ewan, and lightsaber fights I would of left that movie I half hour into it.
