Sir. Paul

So last Tuesday me and the mom headed out to Rio Tinto for the Paul McCartney concert. BEST.CONCERT.EVER. He is a freaking Beatle people. It was like watching history!

We were super far back, but it was such an amazing show. I could hardly believe I was there. I nearly cried when he sang "Hey Jude". He also did a John Lennon and a George Harrison tribute. So cool.

So I was trying to take a pic of my mom and the sign, but our special friend (aka my mom's new boyfriend) kept sneaking his way in. Yep. Thanks a lot dude. So glad you are in ever picture. Nice shirt by the way.

I was also impressed because Paul had PETA people all over the venue promoting animal rights. There were tons of different PETA fliers with his photo on it and messages from him. I even got a free "MEAT FREE MONDAYS" shirt for already being a Vegetarian. In case you were wondering why, Sir Paul happens to be Vegan. And that, is definitely, Awesome Like a Possum.

4 months!

My amazing little Fraggle turned 4 months old last Friday! So I give you,
Fraggle with a Fraggle: A portrait.

I honestly can't believe how great this kid is. I adore him so much. He is growing everyday. He does so much now. He laughs and smiles and grabs and is just plain awesome. He is the best thing ever, and he makes me ridiculously happy. :)

A Star Spangled Time

What a crazy 4th of July week! Since in Utah we apparently love America so much we celebrate it like 4 days in a row. Either way, it was tons of fun and I got to see a lot of peeps I haven't seen in forever!
Ramsey and I had lunch at CPK we had so much fun! After lunch, I even got to meet her cute little boy Beck. He is so funny. And his shirt is totally true.

Jessica and I spent the afternoon up in Park City where i got to met her BF Jon. It was a beautiful day in PC. We had a blast! We even watched some Olympic skiers practicing. And you peeps know how I love the winter Olympics. So cool!

Fraggle's first REAL game! Friday evening Trixi, Kevin and Fraggle all headed out to the REAL game. I think Rowan is a lucky charm we won 5-0!
After the game Jaylene and I went out dancing at Sandbar. Where we met all sorts of boys. We were pretty much on fire.

Saturday, I got to spend nearly the whole day with my amazing friend Jing who was visiting from San Fran. Saturday night Jing, Jay and I ran all over town causing trouble. We even got mixed up with the likes of Dick Norris.

Sunday Jay and I went to Piper Down with Jamie her roomie and the roomie's best friend for some karaoke action. Although our karaoke action was on the low end, it was still great getting to see Miss. Jamie. :)

Birthday Party!

Two of my fave gal pals had a birthday party last Friday at the Tandoor Indian restaurant. It was so much fun! We ate delicious food, laughed up a storm and took our turns cooing over baby Rowan. I love a party! :)

The Birthday Girls! We are all Geminis and our ages are 29,27,28. So random.

I have no idea why the pic won't flip, but look how cute my fraggle is!

Everybody loves a good party hat. I wore two.

We had to take a matching aviator pic, because we are bad asses.

And BTW the pic caused all sorts of drama, because apparently, if you take a pic with a boy they are suddenly your boyfriend. So, if this rule is true I have about 200 boyfriends many of them very famous and rich. So really, why do I need a job again?

Since my boys at the USMNT have a World Cup game first thing tomorrow morning, I thought I'd go ahead and show them some love by posting some pics from a photo shoot a few of them recently did for Interview magazine. Um, yummy. These are the fine boys representing our country. So show them some love! Who's your favorite?
And...

A Tale of Two Dogs...

This Saturday night Jayleane and I rescued two dogs. TWO. First we were by Village Inn when we noticed a very scared, limping, howling, yellow lab with a collar and tags. It was running all over the road as Jay, a super hot guy with two broken arms and some bacon, and I tried for an hour and a half to keep it from getting hit. We honked horns yelled at cars waved our arms, everything we could to keep puppy from being hit. But puppy would not come to us he instead ran in front of every car possible. It was so freaked out! Animal Control was useless, the police too. Finally at last its owners showed up with very little concern. Oye Vie people! Take care of your animals!

Then right after I dropped Jay off another dog threw himself in front of my car. This dog was super friendly and when I called him over to my car he rewarded me for slamming on my breaks by licking me all over, resting his head in my lap and doing tricks. This adorable pooch of course sported a collar but no tags. Ugh. Well Jay came back out of her house and found me complete in her PJs and slippers where we then decided what to do next. My first though was to put it in someone yard and deal with it in the morning. So I called my Vegan/animal rescue friend who name will go unmentioned(coughJennycough) thinking I could keep it in her yard over night. Well, she was far to busy sleeping to help and said I should "Just leave it in my car for the night" Yeah. That seems super fair to the dog or my car. So then I had a moment of inspiration. I took my book bag strap and hooked it to fluffy dogs collar and said "OK lets go home! HOME!" and he then took me and Jay on a near six block jog back to his home where his grateful owners were sitting on the porch. They said he had escaped and they had been looking for him all night. They rewarded me with hugs, but they did not do tricks.
Please note it was freezing and I was wearing wedges and a fake leather jacket. I was frozen and my feet dead by the end of this adventure.

PS How big did I fail by not somehow getting cute broken arms guys number? A hot boy trying to save a dog at 2 in the morning, telling me he can't leave till he knows its safe because he won't sleep all night. And I let him slip away. Possible soul mate fail.

Go here.

You all need to go to Jason Mraz's blog and read the last two posts about his trip to Ghana. It is beautifully written and brought tears to my eyes. DO IT.

So true...

Trixi gave me this apron for my birthday. It says "I kiss better then I cook" that couldn't be more true.

My little Fraggle is 3 months old now! I can barely believe it!

Keep it clean.

Old.

Unfortunately, part of life is getting older. Here are some pics from my 28 birthday...

My two lovely friends Sabrina and Shadna at my birthday dinner.

The waitress recognized me from eating at the PF Changs all the time, so she gave me a free dessert! Complete with candle.

Here are some peeps from dinner. NOTE: Jenny and Melissa did not eat dinner with us. Those that want the whole dramatic story can call me.

We headed to circle lounge to sit at our VIP table and do some dancing.

Later we found a giant fan so of course, a photo shoot commenced.

Hole in wall.

Graffiti we are being "Gangsta"

After circle we swung by Jeremiah's for one last birthday hug.

Guess what I'm doing tonight...

Going to see Sex and the City 2! Yeah! I'm so excited! Mayra, Alison and I will be attending the 6:45 showing.

How much do I love, love Carrie and Miranda's look here? Fabulous. I want Carrie's dress, but in black I spill in white. And I totally hate Charlotte and Samantha's look. Thanks for letting me share.
Remember when I met the star of the movie? Oh you forgot? Here is a quick reminder:

Remember when my hair was so long and blond. Ugh it was such a simpler time then....

Horay!!

I have to give a BIG congratulatory shout out for my pal Robbie Findley! It was just announced that Robbie will be on the 23 man rooster to go to the World Cup! This is huge news people. Robbie is an incredibly talented forward, and one of the nicest people you could meet! He has worked so hard for this. Congrats Robbie! Now score some goals for the USA!!

Woops.

In other news I'm totally lame and forgot to post about The Fabulous Miss Emily Clawsons Birthday! Yay! To celebrate we all went to The Dodo and had a totally yummy dinner. And our waiter was yummy too. I have known The Claw for over 15 years. We met back in theatre school where we stared in a amazing production called "The Woman Of King Arthur's Court" Seriously peeps it was Tony worthy. Espicallly since Barbara had to feed me all my lines. Awesome.

What?! Yeah!! Okay!!

Well, Lil' Jon had a "concert" at The Depot. I use the word concert loosely for I don't think he once actually sang He was more of just a DJ. But anyway Alison, Mayra and I had quite the time shaking our groove thing and dropping it likes it hot.

Done and Done.

Turns out straight guys are miserable jerks. I'm on a break from love until further notice. I even made a CD of songs that have nothing to do with love. Fuck them all. I'm over it. And if you are an eternal optimist when in comes to love, do not comment with your words of encouragement I absolutely do not want to hear it.

Bulletproof
-La Roux
Been there, done that, messed around
I’m having fun don’t put me down,
I’ll never let you sweep me off my feet,
I won’t let you in again, the messages I’ve tried to send,
my informations’ just not going in,
burnin’ bridges shore to shore, I’ll break away from something more,
I’m not to not to love until it’s cheap,
been there, done that, messed around,
I’m having fun don’t put me down,
I’ll never let you sweep me off my feet,

This time baby,
I’ll be,
Bulletproof

I won’t let you turn around,
and tell me now I’m much too proud,
to walk away from something when it’s dead,
do do do your dirty words come out to play when you are heard,
there’s certain things that should be left unsaid,
tick tick tick tick on the watch and life’s too short for me to stop,
Oh baby, your time is running out,
I won’t let you turn around,
and tell me now I’m much too proud,
All you do is fill me up with doubt,

This time baby I’ll be bulletproof

Uh oh Brian...

I think they are one to you.

Be careful. Daddy Beckham has some friends in high places...

And I don't mean pigeons. They work for me, not him.

This is why you have kids.

WATCH THIS VIDEO. This kid is Michael Greyson. He is ridiculously good. He is 13. If I were his mother I would take this cash cow all the way to the bank.

That Beaver kid best watch his back.

Any-woo. Somehow I got Tylenol poisoning and have been barfing my guts out all damn day. So not cool. I feel like swamp. Even playing Farmviile made me dizzy. I was completely unaware one could take to many Tylenol. Now I know. FAIL.

Bang Bang!!

So when did everyone in my life decide to hop on the crazy train? I swear this week is ridiculous. Oye vie. I have people lying to me about the STUPIDEST things ever. We are in our 20's no need to pretend a boy is giving you attention to look cool. No one cares. And your secret dating life? Yep, again no one cares. Also its called a phone. There are buttons on it that you press to spell out different words. When you receive this thing called a text message, and its asking a question, its polite to respond to that question in a somewhat timely manner. If you are at work , school, a movie, the hospital, or funeral/wedding, then fine. You are excused. If no question is asked, then no, I probably don't need a response. Just putting it out there people. Oh ya, and don't get wasted every single week and call me at 2 in the morning
weather it be a Fri or Tues, then when I call you ONCE not answer your phone, and then act annoyed the next day. UNACCEPTABLE. For future reference I now sleep with my phone on silent, so if you have some sort of emergency, you might have to deal with it without my assistance.

Anyway, in AWESOME news. my second favorite person next to Jen Aniston finally announced she is coming to SLC!!!

YAY FOR CHELSEA HANDLER!!!!!
I. can. not. wait. I am probably going by myself and I don't even give a damn. I'm so excited. This brings and unmeasurable amount of joy to my little, cold, dead, heart. I'm going to buy her new book this week as to be all caught up. I watch homegirl's show every night. She is hilarious.

As many times as I blink I'll think of you

The stars lean down to kiss you,
And I lie awake I miss you,
Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere.
Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly,
But I'll miss your arms around me
I'll send a postcard to you dear,
Cause I wish you were here.

I'll watch the night turn light blue,
But it's not the same without you,
Because it takes two to whisper quietly,
The silence isn't so bad,
Till I look at my hands and feel sad,
Cause the spaces between my fingers
Are right where yours fit perfectly.

I'll find repose in new ways,
Though I haven't slept in two days,
Cause cold nostalgia chills me to the bone.
But drenched in Vanilla twilight,
I'll sit on the front porch all night,
Waist deep in thought because when I think of you.
I don't feel so alone.
I don't feel so alone.
I don't feel so alone.

As many times as I blink I'll think of you... tonight.
I'll think of you tonight.

When violet eyes get brighter,
And heavy wings grow lighter,
I'll taste the sky and feel alive again.
And I'll forget the world that I knew,
But I swear I won't forget you,
Oh if my voice could reach back through the past,
I'd whisper in your ear,
Oh darling I wish you were here.
-Owl City

Happy Birthday. You should of been 28 today. In July it will be 4 years since you left us. I miss you every single day.
