I went away for awhile.
I'm sorry.
I hate the holidays. They were extra bad this year.
Then I picked up another job, (thats 4 if you are keeping count) then Sundance.
I was a busy bee.
I'll try to be better I promise.
I hoping for BIG things this year.

Haloween Adventures
Last night Mayra and I got all dolled up and went on a Halloween adventure!
So much happened.
A quick list:
I got a blister from tying Mayra's corset.
I pushed a drug dealer.
We got hollered at several times.
We met a fellow who looked just like Johnny Depp.
We danced a little.
A boy hit on us who hit on me and another friend years ago.
We talked to a man dressed as beer pong.
We had snacks.
We met some nice drag queens.
Today I'm beat!
Happy Halloween all.

Five Friday Faves InstaFave Edition.
I present to you my fave pics I have taken from Instagram so far:
I truly adore the girls in this pic. They are the BEST.
I love flowers. All the beautiful colors in this garden just blow my mind.
This is love. 100% LOVE.
My sweet Fraggle is getting so big. I love everything about this photo. Rowan, the sidewalk, the table & chairs, his toy, all just fell together perfectly.
My smiling happy Stella. Again, 100% LOVE.

completely unimpressive.
So here it is. I have a slight rant.
Recently a boy I have showed interest in put a picture on facebook where the intent was clearly to make fun of the people in it. The people weren't doing anything out of the ordinary but when I saw the picture I knew the intent. This was followed by people liking the picture then proceeding to make fun of them with their comments.
So, I ask you,
What the hell was the point of this?
Did it make these people feel better about them selves to write rude comments about these people who they don't even know?
When I think of some of the best people I know. People who inspire me, or friends I truely adore, I know for a fact, they would never do something like that.
For the record, I don't think its cool. I think its stupid, immature, childish, and completely unimpressive.
You are in your twenties. Grow up.
That is all.

Rough
I'm sorry I haven't blogged in months Its been a little rough this summer. Okay, its been a lot rough. Its been sorta terrible to be honest. Last July I worked all day every day, this July I cried all day every day. Anyhow, things are (slowly) getting better. Sometimes it just takes a minute. It hasn't all been bad. And as they say, it will all be okay in the end. If its not okay, its not the end.

Going back to Cali Cali...
Back in June I was a lucky ducky and took a quick trip back to LA to visit my friend Pinky and see the sights! Here are some of my highlights from the trip!
The Thrilling Adventure Hour show we attended in Hollywood
Pinkberry!!!
Taking Sammy to beach that is literally 2 blocks away from Pinky's house.
The beach in general.
Eating at my fave LA restaurant, Urth Cafe.
Celeb spotting at the Grove. Akon shot me down for a pic. Bastard.
Finally getting a pic with the Hollywood sign. (I have wanted one for years!)
Easting lunch with some of Pinky's co workers and the ever so cute Lindsay in Glendale. (I am now obsessed with Glendale).
The amazing squirrel we saw on the way to Franco's movie premiere. The Thrilling Adventure Hour show we attended in Hollywood

But, Who?!?!
My horoscope for Monday July 9th:
Someone is thinking about you hard today -- though the odds are good that they don't have all the facts they need! Try to figure out who deserves a more positive spin on your recent activities.
Who?!?! Who is this person!?!?
What does it all mean?!?!

Hot in Here
I can barely express how hot it is here. Its so hot.I thought the hottest it could get was in my car with no air conditioning. I was wrong. The absolute hottest it can get is inside Maxwells Bar on a Saturday night. Words can not express how hot it was. It was like a form of torture. I literally begged a friend for an ice cube from his drink. BEGGED. Mind you I was wearing a mini dress with a giant hole in the back so lord knows how anyone in pants survived....
If it was appropriate to stand around in my underwear I would of. I wouldn't of given it a second thought.
I am to old for that.

Anchors Aweigh
Quick story.
Awhile back I saw the dress in the J.Crew window. It was love at first sight. It was SO boaty! How could I not own it?!?! I ran inside to find it was $98. For a tunic dress. Ya. That's a bit pricey...
So I waited like a month. Price I paid this week? $23.79
WINNING!!!!

The Switch
So I pull the switch, the switch the switch inside my head.
And I see black, black, green and brown, brown, brown, and blue, yellow, violets, red.
And suddenly the light appears inside my brain.
And I think of my ways I think of my days and I know that I have changed.
It's the colors you have
no need to be sad.
It really ain't that bad.
It's the colors you have
No need to be sad.
You've still got your health.

Quick Story
Soooooo, remember
that one time I flew all the way to LA to see my husband James Franco at a showing of his movie where he was supposed to do a Q&A? Good story.
Well, thanks to Seth Rogan who is directing a movie James is currently filming in New Orleans, that is behind schedule, James couldn't come.
Wah Wah.
Major Franco Fail.
Needless to say this:
Was the closet I got to James Franco in LA. I attended his art exhibit at MOCA. It was called "REBEL" and was about James Dean, Brad Renfro and Natalie Wood. Well, Sorta.
Its VERY hard to explain.
I liked it.
But I knew what I was getting myself into.
Pinky had no idea.
A snipit of our conversation following our visit to the exhibit:
Pinky:"That was not what I expected!"
Heidi: "What did you think it was going to be?!?"
Pinky:"I thought it was going to be a nice tribute to James Dean not blood and feathers and porn!"
The exhibit did include all those things. Plus a swimming pool with a motorcycle in it, loud noises, dark rooms, and a lot of different movie things being projects in houses.
I think for the most part, I got it. But, I could be totally wrong.
I've seen "Rebel Without A Cause" and considering I spend my spare time watching James Franco interviews on YouTube, I am pretty sure I get what my husband was going for.
It's paint not real blood. Don't worry.
Yes, that's James below in the red jacket with his head in someones crotch.
In case you are wondering what is happening in that first pic of James Franco, he is getting "Brad" carved into his arm for Brad Renfro. I know this because I watched the same video shown in the exhibit months ago...

I went ahead and turned thirty.
I went ahead and turned thirty.
Yikes! I had a nice day getting pedicures and having lunch with Mayra. At night an awesome group of friends met up and we had a lovely dinner at PF Changs, then gelatto around the corner.
It made me feel so loved to have everyone show up.

A few weeks back, Trixi, Fraggle my mom and I went up to Baby Animal Days at This Is The Place State Park. OMG baby animals are so cute! I held baby chickens, petted baby goats, piglets and ducklings. It was so fun! Such a splendid way to spent a spring afternoon!
