Denver! Part:4

Our first morning in Denver we set out to purchase our REAL tics. So the first stop was Invesco Stadium at Mile high.
So, in Denver they are really big fans of giant metal animal statues. Its kind of weird. They are also really obsessed with the Denver Bronco football team. SO they have these giant horses outside the stadium. We win the the cooler stadium competition, because we had the Olympics.
Since we had nothing better to do, we went on a tour of the stadium. This is a view of the pitch.

About 3 hours outside Denver, we hit some very stormy weather...
I felt very skeptical about what Wyoming had to offer. They had buffalo (or bison if you prefer) on everything. Maps, signs, whatever I did not see one buffalo the entire time!
I did however see lots of windmills and cows and these gazelle like creatures I was told were prong horned sheep. They did not look like sheep at all.
The closer we got to Denver, the cheaper the gas got!!

Almost Birthday Time!

So its almost my Birthday. This is exciting! Hooray for Birthdays!!! Also, I am going to Denver next week! Also very exciting. I have never been to Denver, so this will be quite the adventure. Anyone know anything about Denver I should know? Please let me know. I hear its lovely this time of year.

Drowned Rat Photo

So I just got this pic of me and Hiba from the game on Saturday. We are very cold and wet.

I am officially a drowned rat....

Today REAL had a game. Today was also the day the skies choose to open up and dump freezing cold rain on us for the entire 90 min of the game. It was so, so cold. Freezing. Really. It was bad. We were standing in like 2 inches of water. My shoes were soaked.( Note to self, Converse, not water proof.) Jenny and I even bought the ugly yellow $2 ponchos they were selling. They didn't do much. The $4 hot chocolate didn't do much either. Especially when I dumped it down my sleeve. The bag I brought that was supposed to be water proof, was filled with water that I dumped out after the game. But us being the true fans we are stuck it out. And the team came through for us with a tie. The rain made the pitch so slippery, players were falling down right and left. Certain Soccer players even got hurt. Thus making me very nervous for most of the game. But thank goodness they tied. I'll take a tie over a lose any day.

Its 2 in a row now!!!

So my fave team won again Saturday! Hooray! They played awesome and we won 2-1 against the Kansas City Wizards!After the game we all went to Fiddlers to celebrate where I then proceeded to lock my keys in my car. Luckily the window was down a bit, and with an assist from a certain soccer player and his brother we were able to open the car again.

We Won!!!!!!!

So check it, we finally won!!!! Wahooo! I am so happy! The 18 game losing streak is over! And not only did we win, but we totally kicked the LA Galaxy ass! 3-0 A total shut out!!! It was our first away game win ever. There are some very happy soccer fans!!! And the finally let the Novak play! He did an awesome job. And they showed him on TV alot. I heart soccer so very much....


PS Me and my girls did the dorkyest thing ever this morning. I can't say what, But it did involve the airport, soccer, and me and Hiba feeling stupid and hiding behind a post. Nuff said....

Well its been quiet the soccer week for me! First we had the Game Saturday night, we lost. :( Then we had the reserve game Sunday morning, we won! :) Then practice today, always a good time. And since nothing else exciting ever happens to me.... Here are some pics from the past few days. Hooray!

Soccer Time!!!

Well, the REAL season is fully underway! Hooray! You know I loves me some soccer! And there was two games this weekend, a regular one and a reserve game. Also we were playing against my second favorite team, The LA Galaxy. So I got to see my pal Brian Dunseth. Who plays for LA now. It was all sorts of fun. Minus the part where I got sunburned so bad that I look like a lobster. And when I locked my keys in the car at the reserve game near Kamas in the middle of nowhere. But, my wonderful photographer friend Julie took all sorts of pictures for me. So, Yeah! Here they are!

The Last Supper.....

Today I had to say goodbye to my favorite movie date, shopping buddy, Cas Monday pal, and much more Meredith. I am so blue. :( We had a lovely dinner at our favorite spot, that lasted almost two hours,than we said our goodbyes. I was so sad I was forced to go shop. Without Meredith. Which made me more sad. So I went and watched Claw, Barb and Cory eat Chinese. I had a fortune cookie. My fortune cookie said this "YOU ARE A HAPPY MAN". What exactly is that supposed to mean? Meredith and I tried to take like a million pics with my phone of our last goodbye. But none worked because my phone is a piece of crap. So here. I give you our current favorite pic:

Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head....

Since it has rained like a million hours the past two days, I thought a rain post was needed. Look and see how the rain flooded the pond behind my house!
PS Have you ever seen a goose in the rain? The water just makes little droplets then rolls off their back. I feel it would be nice if I had this ability, but only in rain or rain like situations. Not in Bath or Bath like situations.
PPS I have yet to see Sam the muskrat and I wonder how he is handling all this....

One more thing, I made these two things today. After I made the first one I was told the hair was to dark. So I tried to fix it. Do you have an opinions on which one looks more like me? Do tell...

James Blunt!!

Tonight The Claw and I went to the James Blunt Concert!! It was all sorts of fun. Despite the trashy people standing next to us and the completely obnoxious cheef(sp?)
who felt it necessary to push to the front row mid concert and show James Blunt his tattoo. I shoved him and his dumb ass girlfriend very hard. We were on the second row. That was super. He is dreamy. I took some pics, but my camera phone sucks so the pics are not so great. I wish someone could explain while they will look just fine when I save them, then when I refer back to them suddenly they are blurry. WTF?

I love him.

Why are some pics big and some small? I wish I knew....

This guy was from another one of the opening bands called "The boy least likly to" I asked him his name and I thought he said "Bish" I was very confused. Claw later told me it was "Rich". That makes more sense.
