And The List Goes On...

Damn! What The Hell Happened To You?(In a bad way): Levar Burton

Lets rewind for a quick sec, Homeboy used to look like this:

What. The. Hell. He looks so bad! And, he was a little on the creepy side too.

Damn! What The Hell Happened To You?(In a good way): Riki Lake

Home girl looks good! I noticed her cute outfit before I noticed who she was! She is teeny tiny now! She looks great!

Most exciting person to stumble upon that leans out of a car:Juliette Lewis
I don't have much to say about Juliette Lewis. She was nice and Jenny loves her.

Best Hobbit to follow and Autograph Hound Into Main Street Pizza and Pasta for:Elijah Wood

Elijah Wood was a pretty exciting find, because I've heard he is hard to get and also because Emily loves him so much. He was very sweet. Even after I told him my friend was totally in love with him.

Coolest Legend to meet at Sundance 2010: Joan Rivers

OK, I am now officially a huge Joan Rivers fan! She was a total delight so sweet and nice. I saw the documentary film that was about her, Joan Rivers, A Real Piece of Work
And it was amazing.

And The Award Goes To...

And now, I present to you my 2010 Sundance Film festival awards:

Most Pleasant Surprise: Bradly Mother Effin Cooper.
Imagine my shock when I see this beautiful man emerge from the shadows. Pleasant doesn't even come close.I screamed like a teenage girl. I almost had a total meltdown. I was super impressed because he was VERY nice. WIN! Don't worry I thanked him for being beautiful. ;)

Shes So Pretty and Shes Nice:
Malin Akerman
Malin is up and coming and I think she will soon be one of Hollywood's go to girls. She is beautiful, talented, and very sweet. She was AMAZING in Happythankyoumoreplease. She had two movies at Sundance this year. I saw her twice and both times she was very nice and polite. She is someone I would love to see do amazingly well!

I was so in love with you at one point in my life, that I thought I'd marry you and you are a complete dream in person: Adam Brody
O.M.G. Honestly how can you not love him? He was Seth Cohen on THE OC!! I always imagined he would be a doll and he totally was. I met him after his movie premiere that I couldn't get tickets too :( And he was a total dream come too. When I asked him for a pic he politely asked "security" (I use the word security loosely for everyone Sundance hires is douche bag rent a cops) to move then came around and took pics with everybody. He even took two with me because my first one was FAIL. So happy I finally got a pic with him!

Nicest Guy Ever: Ryan Gosling
What a truly awesome and humble guy! So, so ,so, nice! Took his time with EVERYBODY. Seriously he was there forever taking pics and signing autographs. We left before he did. Handsome, sweet, and totally polite. I was so impressed by him, I think I am officially a fan for life. I also talked to his mom, and she was adorable.

Best Pic of a Celeb I've taken maybe ever:
Seriously have you seen anything cuter? If it doesn't make your heart melt you might be dead inside. This was after the premiere of the film Diego Luna directed called Abel The two little boys pictured are the stars in the film and they are brothers in real life. ADORABLE!!

Runner Up:
Because, well come on, how absolutely lovable is Diego in this pic? Side note: I told him I named my cat after him and I he said "Really?" I sad Yes! Its even on his tag, Diego Luna." And he said "Gracias!" Swoon!
Fave Sundance BFF: Ben Lyons

As you readers know, I love, Love, LOVE, Ben Lyons! We have gotten a pic together the past 3 years at Sundance. He is one of the best people you could be lucky to meet. He is beyond adorable, totally kind and, I heart him. He gave me a hug thanked me for his support and talked to me every time I saw him during the festival. He is great! I love his movie reviews. We decided we were Sundance BFFs. :) PS we have awesome taste in hats I think...
PS Did you peeps who look at Perez Hilton catch my hand in one of his pics?
So I'm there on the left holding my phone. (Don't judge me this may be all I have...)

More awards to come! Stay tunes and have a happy weekend.

Wait For It....

I love Ben Affleck. I have loved him for years. I can date my love back to elementary school science class where we used to watch Voyage of the Mimi. Mind you, I was like 7 at this time. The episode where the purify rain water with plastic and sticks still amazes me to this day.
Just look how cute young Ben was!

Then came Good Will Hunting, where I absolutely picked Ben's dark hair and eyes over that pretty boy Damon.

My love for Ben was confirmed in High School when Ben stared in Armageddon, and my friend Zac gave me a giant Ben Affleck poster for my wall.

Lets also not forget Forces of Nature, that came out my Jr year of High school and I probably watched ummmm 150 times. There was a brief period around 2003 when my love for him wanned due to him dating J-Lo and starring in Gigli, and Jersery Girl, but all was forgiven by 2007 when he directed Gone Baby Gone. Really, all he had to do was look at my with those Beautiful Brown eyes and all would be forgiven.

So to sum it up, I have wanted to meet Ben for about 20 years. Damn it To Hell, that makes me feel old. Historically Ben has been at Sundance at least 5 times when I've been there. And I Can NEVER Find Him. I got a glimpse of him once about 7 years ago when he was here for Project Greenlight. I stood in the cold with no gloves for 4 hours to not get anywhere close to him. To put it mildly, it was a total cluster fuck. I blame J-Lo.
Well fast forward to Saturday while walking down Main St I notice some excitement. I quickly dash over and what should appear before me? Ben mother effing Affleck. "Its Ben!!" I shrieked. I then planted myself directly outside the door he went in knowing he would have to eventually emerge. Well we waited... and waited... and as we waited the mob grew. Then up wanders Ron Livingston so I briefly stepped away from my post by the door to ask for a pic. While speaking with Ron, who should open the door? BEN! So I quickly make a mad dash and tossed none other then Ron's wife Rosemarie DeWitt (of TVs Mad Man) aside. Yes, I apologized to her later.
Any way, I quickly rushed to my loves side and said "Ben can I please take a pic with you if I walk with you?"
He said yes so we proceeded to walk up the street arms around each other for 30 steps. (Yes, I went back and counted.) and this is how it turned out:
Wait for it....

Wait for it....

Wait for it....

and...FAIL
But Hey, 4 crappy pics with Ben Affleck are better then none! Plus he was very sweet talked to me as we walked and kept his arm around me. And, lets face it, this makes a great story. SWOON.

From One Heidi To Another

Dear Heidi Montag,
I can't stand it anymore. I've had enough of you. You are an embarrassment to all Heidis and we are sick of you dragging our good name through the mud. Seriously girl what is your problem? When you came into our lives on "The Hills" you were, of course, totally annoying and incredibly rude, (remember that time you snuck into Laurens work event? WTF!) but you were at least somewhat tolerable then.

But you have taken it to far young lady! To far! And frankly you just won't do.
First you "fell in love" with then married this douchbag, that was strike one. But we still gave you another chance. Even after he did totally horrible things to Lauren. We still let you in our lives and tried to understand the situation.

Then you made yourself a little "music video" I use the word music video very loosely seeing as I have made better videos with just a hat, a Sundance billboard, and some Green face paint. PS your epidermis its showing....... Got cha!

That was followed by your disastrous attempt at a clothing line. Like the name wasn't embarrassing enough, your entire line consisted of booty shorts and zebra tube tops. Were you trying to market to hookers and trannys? FAIL. Heidi. FAIL.

After that you went out and publicly supported this loser. Really? Really? Do you even know how to vote? Or what voting is for that matter? Or what the president is?

And then there was this disaster. You honestly cried when someone took the labels off your shampoo? Get a grip!

But now, I am openly saying, YOU HAVE GONE TO FAR!! What the hell have you done to your face and body?!?! You look completely repulsive. I don't know what is worse your boobs or your face. I mean the whole thing is just like wow. And that's not a good wow. its more like an "OMG Look at that crazy girl who can't more her face" sort of wow.

You have to stop. You need to go away. Our good name has suffered enough! You are slowing ruining it for us. You have taken all the good work Heidi Klum has done for our name and killed it. Killed it dead. I was actually asked once if it sucked to have the same name as you, and I had it first! So in short, get off my TV and out of my face.
Thank you,
Heidi

Fashion.. Turn to the left...

Well kids, I started school this week. While its weird to be back in the classroom, Its also kind of fun. I'm taking 2 classes. Intro to Fashion and Textiles.
My Intro class is on Mondays for 3 hours. I think its going to be really fun. In the first class the teacher asked a bunch of questions about Nordstrom, and I answered ALL of them (you're shocked, I know.) In general though, I answered a lot of questions. So all the people that tell me reading all my magizines is useless, screw you guys. That's how I know a lot of the answers. (See I knew it would pay off someday...) For our first project we get to do an oral presentation on our fave designer. I picked Stella McCartney. Because I love her designs and she uses NO animal by products not leather, wool, or anything. I'm excited!

My Textiles class is on Tuesday for 2 hours. I think is going to be really interesting too. I will learn lots about... well... textiles. But seeing as clothes are made out of textiles, I feel this will be a very important class. Here's hoping I do well!

And yes, those are pics of my actual textbooks.

Baby Talk

As you know, my dear friend Trixi and her hubby Kevin are due to have a baby in February!

The Monday after Christmas they held a baby shower and it was a blast! It was great catching up with people I haven't seen in awhile and the food was delicious!

This is Trixi's brother. We took like 20 photos and were laughing in like 90% of them.

These two ladies and Lauren and Jing. We were in drama club in High School together!

Derek and I are losers, but we thought these pics were hilarious.

I wish the baby's due date would get here already! I'm soooo excited! The are not finding out if its a boy or girl, but I'm convinced its a boy.
I'm excited for this weekend. Should be Awesome Like A Possum. I've got a ton to do!
Brunch with Trixi, get Sundance Tickets, hang out with a friend visiting from out of town, Its going to be busy but fun! Have a great weekend everybody! School starts Monday! Yikes!!

Lack of Focus

I simply cannot focus at work today. Its ridiculous. My mind is wandering all over the places with thoughts of Sundance, the impending weekend fun, and school starting next week. Plus my office is on the extra cold side today, so that's always a treat. I have a project I need to get done too, but it no use.
In French news I had Brie and sliced baguette for breakfast. I know how very "J'veux ton amour Et je veux ton revenge J'veux ton amour" of me.
I would really like to go straight home and enjoy a short winters nap this afternoon but alas I will first be driving to Draper. Wah Wah. Then I feel I will get all wrapped up in the world of Farm Ville (thanks alot Mayra...) and unpacking boxes.

Maybe, I will build a fort. The picture below inspired me.

I also think I would like a smoothie from the yummy smoothie place I discovered by my new house. Oh and a special shout out to Brian for putting up that awful pic of Kate Gosslin and her new hair. I'm sure to have nightmares for weeks.
Tonight I'm heading to a wedding reception with Mayra in Mapleton. I have absolutely no idea where Mapleton is.

Just Some Things

Some things on my brain today:
Intermediate Yoga
I have decided to bump myself up to intermediate yoga. Seeing as I have been in beginning yoga for like 5 years, I feel it was time. Turns out after not doing Yoga for a month, intermediate yoga is a bit on the rough side. But, my yoga teacher is amazing so I will persist. Also, I totally did the pose below. Sorry I don't recall what its called, I was to busy trying to not lose the grip of my feet , so my face wouldn't smack into the ground.

Leggings
Finally after mouths of searching, I found a decent pair that doesn't get all baggy after 15 mins. Huzah!

Taylor Twellman
I had a dream that I missed the REAL home opener, and this fellow, Taylor Twellman, called and yelled at me! I think its because I just started following him on Twitter, and he angry tweets a lot.

Sundance!
I get my tickets this Saturday!! Although I will not be seeing as many films this year due to a lack in funds, I will definitely be attending a few. As many of you know, Sundance is my favorite holiday, and its about time to celebrate!

You Were Fine 2009

I'm a busy girl. I've got lots to do at work and home. I'm starting school next week to get my certificate in fashion and I could not be more excited. I also applied for and internship at Nordstrom, so lets hope that works out too. So on top of work and moving and everything, I'm a little scrambled. But none the less, I feel there is always time for blog post. So I give you, a few of my top moments of 2009. Drum roll please....

#10 ALL STAR GAME WEEK
This week was a blast. Parties, parties and more...parties. A whole week of fun.
#9 VALENTINES DAY
Thanks to Rachel's idea of drinks with the girls at Red Door. This was a very fun V-Day. Maybe my best ever.

#8 PROM
Its always fun to revisit your youth, and this was a great way to do it! Plus it was for a good cause! PS I still fit in a dress I wore 10 years ago! Hells ya.
#7 BABY ANIMAL DAY
OK, What person wouldn't enjoy a day spent cuddling baby animals? Sooooooo cute. I want a sheep.

#6 RENT
For as long as I've been a "Renthead" (almost 12 years...) I have wanted to see Adam Pascal live as Roger. Goal achieved. Plus they through Anthony Rapp into the mix too. Bonus!
#5 KB'S 70'S SKATE-A-THON
I can not even begin to describe how ridiculously fun this event was. Take like 15 of your good friends and lock them in a fun house built for adults, that includes giant bouncy houses, lazer tag and skating, and you might have a slight idea of how fun this night was.
#4 SPENCER'S VISITING PARTY!
Kelly and I were quite the couch dancing team! Plus look at this group of people? How can you not LOVE them?!?!
#3 SEATTLE PART 2
What a crazy fun weekend! Parties! Derek! Fish tosses! Rain! Soccer! Cupcakes! Spiders! Kate! After Parties! Delicious snack! Champagne! My boys winning the cup! Mayra! Ninja time! Such an awesome weekend.

#2 HALLOWEEN
Despite the fact I look like a dead ringer for Andy Warhol,
One sentence describes this night best: "Best November 1st ever" haha

#1 MLS CUP!
What else could possibly be number 1! My boys did it! And the whole week surrounding the cup was total awesomeness!!
